Namgay is now a fully qualified nurse and is looking to gain experience in hospital in India before looking to applying to come to UK. Thupten hopes to pursue a career in law and is doing further studies in Delhi. The other four girls are all in Itanagar, the capital of Arunachal Pradesh state, studying for Masters degrees and Bachelor of Education. They realise that they now have to at least partially support themselves so take on tutoring jobs.
